Your journey from student to global social entrepreneur starts here.

Who is eligible to compete in Hult Prize?

We welcome teams of 2-4 students from almost every country in the world who are:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Enrolled in any degree-granting program (including undergraduate and graduate programs) at the time of registration.
  • Pitching a for-profit business that directly supports at least one UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)

How to Register

Once you’ve formed a team, identified a problem and developed a solution, you’ll register online to compete in our qualifying rounds. If your institution hosts a local competition on campus, you’ll be connected with the organizers. If not, you’ll be directed to submit through our Open Application.

The Million Dollar Deal

At the end of the competition, one of our top 8 finalists will secure $1M in seed investment to advance their business.

Important Note:

The Hult Prize Foundation receives an equity stake in the winning startup (typically 10%), which we use to fund our non-profit operations.
